How many times have you heard that in your career....

The harsh truth of a lot of implementations is that requirement gathering is simply writing down the current dysfunction. A detailed description of todays problems. So......how do we stop this?

The fix is on both sides of the implementation. If you're an implementing partner its about leading with what your solution can do natively. Encouraging your customers to adopt the technology, not adapting it to fit old clunky processes.... If your the customer its about having forward thinking, change embracing SME's in your corner ready to accept the solution your organisation has invested in.

I've made this sound super simple, but these principles around requirements will stand you in good stead for an ERP implementation project.
